How often should I update and run my anti-spyware and anti-virus programs?
We suggest that you update and run your anti-spyware programs at least once a week. If you do not have any anti-spyware programs, you can click here to get Adaware and click here to get Spybot. Both programs are free and easy to use. As for your anti-virus software, we suggest that you check for updates and run a full system scan everyday. If you do not have anti-virus software, you can click here to get AVG. It is also free. By doing as we have suggested, this will keep your computer clean and running well.
What can I do if I have a large email stuck in my Inbox?
You will know if you have a large email stuck on our server in your Inbox if you start to download your mail with Outlook Express etc... and it hangs with a "receiving mail" message, but nothing seems to be happening. We have customers call in everyday with this problem. It is very easy to fix. All you have to do is open up an Internet Explorer window and go to our server. If your mail address is @tnaccess.com, you would simply go to mail.tnaccess.com. If your email address is @cookeville.com, you would go to mail.cookeville.com and so on... once you get there, you will see a place to enter your username (your username is the first part of your email address. for example, if your email address is something like joe@tnaccess.com, your username would be joe). Then you will see a place to enter your password. Once you do that, just click the Login button and you will get to see all of your email that is on our server. While here, you can read and delete the large message that is stopping all of your email from coming into Outlook Express. After doing this, you can close Internet Explorer and get the rest of your email through Outlook Express as you normally would.
